I just wanted to take the time to write you and tell you how happy we are with our Hardwood install. You did a fabulous job installing our Kumaru exotic wood floors and stairs, which was no easy feat! It was very difficult to find a vendor in the Ottawa area with experience and the willingness to work with Kumaru exotic wood. We had been told by many that it couldn’t be done, the wood was too hard to work with, the stairs could not be done etc. Then we found you!

Right from the start your company went the extra mile. You responded immediately to my email and came out to survey the job. You quickly submitted your quote and every question was answered honestly and in a timely fashion. Your office kept us informed every step of the way and worked with our schedules to plan for deliveries and installations.

Your crew were punctual, efficient and professional every step of the way. And even when we encountered a small bumps (through not fault of your company) you and your team worked with us to find solutions. In the end, we are extremely satisfied with the process from start to finish and would
highly recommend your company to anyone looking for a top notch install with great customer service.

The floors and stairs are amazing the exotic and dramatic look is now appreciated by us everyday and by every guest who’ve witnessed the before and after. One other small note: We recently had an issue with our sweet new puppy chewing our gorgeous exotic stairs. We immediately though to call you for advise or a recommendation on how to repair. You calmed us down, you told us not to worry and next day came out and fixed the stair to the  point where unless you knew the chew was done you would not be able to find it. This was ABOVE and BEYOND! Our contract was done and signed off. You owed us nothing and we truly expected to pay for a repair. This is just yet another example of the level of customer service you provide.

I wish to commend Nino Marte Flooring, Ottawa, Ontario, for the superb renewal and finishing of our natural red oak hardwood floors throughout our home. From the excellent pre-contract presentation and recommendations by Nino Marte himself, of the work which should be done, and the preparations for the work as well as a clear contract – through the on-time high quality implementation by his highly personable, courteous and experienced crew, to consideration, recommendations, and the pricing of extras which we requested be done – all of the work culminated in a “showroom” floor, as Nino had indicated at the outset with his recommended Loba finish – and the finish has certainly lived up to its reputation in terms of durability and minimal maintenance

Further to your advice last year I contacted Nino about the drying wood of the risers in my staircase. While Nino and I had a little trouble coordinating schedules he did come and look at my problem and agreed it needed to be fixed. The work was done today and it makes such a difference.

I think that ninohardwood is a very professional outfit. 5 years after they installed the flooring they stood by their product and fixed my problem. Kudos to them and to urban uniform for using such a classy outfit.

We want to thank you most sincerely for your personal attention to our flooring needs in the kitchen and bathroom.
We are very pleased with the new look it gives to the rooms.

We have been at the cottage most of the time since your people finished and are returning today to stay for most
of next week. Here in the house we are still ‘camping’ in the living room because we wanted to take advantage of the hot beautiful weather at the cottage. When we decide to move things back, we will be calling Ross for his help.

I will be writing a longer letter to you soon. Meanwhile, we hope you are also enjoying the summer. Thank you once again for the wonderful job done by your employees. We are delighted with the results. By the way, the key lock which was brought by Chris when he delivered the wood and tiling is still on our front door. Perhaps Ross will take it when he returns.

Nino and his team provided us with VIP service from the moment we met.
After coming to our home for custom measuring, Nino returned again with a choice of custom stained samples so we would know exactly what our refinished hardwood would look like after his team had sanded, stained and sealed our aging floors. I would never have believed those hardwood floors could be refinished into such a thing of beauty! Our own children returning over Christmas were incredulous that these were the same floors on which they chased the dog. Nino’s service was so exceptional that we made the decision for him to replace all of our carpet as well. And we have been equally impressed with the results. We give Nino Marte flooring our highest recommendation and look forward to using his services again in the future.

Nino, thanks so much for the excellent oak floor. The quality of the wood is first class and the crews you sent to install, sand, stain and varathane were very polite, knowledgeable and did superb work. We look forward to living with the floor for years to come.

Thank you for agreeing to have Marcel come back and do another coat yesterday . . . it has made a huge difference, both in making the floor less “rough” to the touch and actually brighter/more ‘polished’ as well. It is much much improved.

We do want to tell you how pleased we are to work with Marcel, he has been very professional and client-friendly and we are very impressed with his expertise and professionalism.

Hi Nino,

I wanted to send an email to say a big THANK YOU for my new hardwood floors. Specifically, I really want to highlight how pleased I was with the contractors who did the install. They were extremely professional, hardworking, and a pleasure to have around. They literally worked non-stop to finish the job within two days, and it was a big job! They worked tirelessly… I didn’t even see them take a single break in what was up to 11 hour days. I was truly amazed and very, very pleased with their work. Please do pass along my thanks to Marcin and his father.

If Judy could forward the final invoice noting payment (I see my Visa was debited for the final amount), that would be great. I would also like to see about ordering a repair kit in case any scratches appear?

Other than that, I am all set. I will be saving my pennies over the next while and will definitely contact you in the future to inquire about re-doing the stairs and upstairs as well.

Thank you, Nino and Chris again for our much needed Christmas miracle. After over 13 months of construction, it is amazing to be able to start using our space! The kids couldn’t agree more! Had to share our joy – the full Thomas Train set out, kicking back in the space and the kids dancing (they are spinning around and around) when they found a great finished, empty room. We wanted to express our sincere thanks for an outstanding experience with you and your teams for the wonderful transformation of our home. We have had many experiences with other flooring companies over the last 20 years. All the sales teams did a good job and the jobs were reasonable priced. But the shortfall with two other companies, from the installation of the products and the after service quality, fell far short of our expectations.

We did a search on the internet and found that you sold a particular kind of hardwood that we were interested to purchase. We drove to your showroom and were greeted by Luc. He was polite and very knowledgeable. He was able to recommend an excellent product that met our needs.  Here’s where the experience changes from Nino Marte Flooring and at least two other flooring companies.

The first crew arrived, as scheduled, to do some tile work. The installation was perfect, he recommend a way to lay the tiles no maximize the impact, not minimize his work. Every tile was inspected and installed perfectly. Excellent job!

A few days later the first of the hardwood flooring teams arrived. There was a team of four and they were all professional, polite and all business. Each member knew what had to be done, they kept us informed of the progress, and respected our home. Day two was much the same, efficient and perfection. The finished product far exceeded our expectations. The old hardwood areas blended perfectly with the new installation. The sanding of the old hardwood was much cleaner and far less dust than I thought it would be. The house was left spotless and all old materiel was removed from the property. Unbelievable the quality of workmanship by true craftsmen!

Round two of hardwood installation. A different team came to install another area of the house. Again outstanding professionals with quality of installation top priority. Obviously Nino you take great pride in hiring only the best craftsmen to perform your installations. We are thrilled to have contacted you and met three fabulous installation teams. Many places sell flooring products, but none have risen to the level you and your teams reached with outstanding installation services.  As a picky homeowner, I highly recommend Nino Marte flooring as my first and only choice, for flooring needs.

Our floors are done and are beauuuuutiful. Thanks for your help in picking them out.

The refinishing of our hardwood in the living room is done. We would like to tell you that the floor specialist did a great job. He did an outstanding job and worked hard. The work crew’s attention to detail and hard work was much appreciated. He did a lot of cleaning after to ensure the dust was at a minimum. His customer relations was very good.

Unfortunately, I have forgotten his name but i would recommend him.
